Every year CAALAS develops and implements community development projects aimed at educating people about prevalent legal issues affecting them and their families.
If you, your community or organisation would like to be involved in any of the projects listed on this page please contact us.

CAAMA Radio Legal Education Sessions
Many of the CAALAS' lawyers, from all practice areas, were involved in pre-recording legal education sessions on a variety of legal issues affecting Aboriginal people in Central Australia. The programs went to air on CAAMA.
Remote Outreach Service
We run scheduled visits to remote communities to improve community understanding of legal issues. Both formal and informal legal education is provided throughout Central Australia. Community members are encouraged to approach CAALAS staff in community to discuss legal issues and receive advice and education.
Refer to the outreach page to find out more.
PAW Media: advertisements created by CAALAS on PAW Media in 3 local languages and English on the importance of coming to court and the dangers of bringing alcohol into prescribed areas. See our audio resources page to listen to the advertisements.
Marvin Characters: CAALAS worked with a local comic designer to create marvin characters for use in education materials. See above for some examples of the characters.
